Smith and Ouzman have initiated a number of personnel changes, which have broadened and enhanced the experience and skill set of the Board.
We have recently recruited three new senior members into our Sales and Product Development Teams working particularly within our overseas territories, which has greatly enhanced our understanding and ability to navigate these difficult and sensitive international markets.

Managing Director, Smith & Ouzman board member (Chairman)
Responsible for the following day-to-day management activities, Production including, pre-press, printing (security and digital), finishing, multi-media, secure mailing. Integrated Management System (IMS) including, BS 9001:2008, BS 27001:2013, BS 14001:2004, BS 10500:2011, CWA 14641:2003 Health and Safety.
Client Services Manager
Part of the Senior Management Team, I am responsible for managing and supporting the UK Account Managers and International Sales Team. I have over 30 years’ experience in all key product areas including finance, payroll, elections, education, gift vouchers, ticketing & web portal design & development.
Lorraine Simmons assoc CIPD
Lorraine is a knowledgeable and experienced HR Manager with a Training and Development background. She enjoys all aspects of employment law and has a specific interest in employee relationships, upskilling and policy/procedure management as well as soft skills and customer service. Lorraine has an up-to-date insight with regards to ISO accreditations which include 37001, 9001, 27001 and 14001 and is also able to internally audit these areas successfully. Lorraine is a modern Human Resources Manager with current strategic planning and decision-making abilities and a passion for supporting and managing people. She is also a proud Enterprise Adviser in partnership with East Sussex County Council, The Careers and Enterprise Company and Skills East Sussex.

Fran is responsible for ensuring that Smith & Ouzman’s IMS is relevant and robust. The IMS supports the following certifications and corresponding Management Systems.

Within her role of IMS Team Leader, she also ensures that the Business is working in-line with ISO 14298, The Industry standard for Security Printers. Fran ensures that the company maintains it’s C&CCC certification to enable it’s continued success in the Security Print Market. She is also helping to further develop the companies Business Continuity System in-line with ISO 22313- Societal Security – Business Continuity Management Systems.
She has recently helped the Company to achieve legislative compliance as a member of the GDPR team.
Business Development Manager
David is responsible for the development, marketing and promotion of the digital products that we produce at Smith & Ouzman, including our online payslip solutions and secure digital certificate printing. He has a background in digital marketing, media and communications and a BSc in Digital Marketing from Pace University in New York.
Part of the Senior Management Team, I am responsible for the management and development of our secure multi-media products and services. I head a team of software developers that specialise in multi-media consultancy for bespoke projects; web portals: data management; certificate print & validation; electronic payroll; digital personalisation; SMS & automatic email response services.
International Sales Manager – Southern Africa
Warren identifies clients and markets in Southern Africa (South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Zambia and Malawi) and promotes the company and its products and services in those countries. He works with governments, electoral bodies, educational and awarding bodies, local police forces and transport.
International Sales Manager
Mike identifies clients and markets in Africa to promote the company, its products and services. He works with examination bodies, universities and banks. He is responsible for the implementation of the latest security features to successfully secure our clients’ documentation against counterfeiting and forgery and ensures that service level agreements are maintained.

Andrew is responsible for sales and business development within new markets for documents of value including tickets, vouchers, educational certificates, land and mineral rights, ownership certificates, vehicle related documents, shares certificates, bonds, payroll documents, election documents, document verification, Ecertsecure, security printing, secure base-stock, local currency and other secure documents.
Roy works with all areas of the UK business to support existing clients and new business development. Like Mark, Roy has worked in the print industry for over 30 years. He specialises is in the financial and education markets and also covers all key product areas including payroll, local authorities, gift vouchers and ticketing.

Business Development Manager
Mark works with all areas of the UK business to support existing clients and new business development. Mark has worked in the print industry for over 30 years and is an expert in local authority work and the elections market. He also covers all key product areas including finance, payroll, elections, education, gift vouchers, ticketing and transport.
Local Business Development
Specialising in new business development, Dinah focuses on developing new products and markets. She is an expert in record management and has a passion for sales and marketing. Dinah has identified a need for record management and document storage and we are pleased to be able to offer this service at various levels according to requirements, along with document scanning and shredding.
